Ray Sparkman is the Director of Missions for the TVSBA. With a bachelor’s degree in music education from West Texas State University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ray has served in the Director of Missions role since August 2012. Ray is a mission-minded church planter at heart and in practice, starting churches in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Idaho. He has been a minister of music, a music evangelist, a mission pastor, and an associate pastor, as well as senior pastor. Ray is married to Arie, who serves diligently beside him. They have two grown sons. He is available to assist Treasure Valley Southern Baptist churches and pastors in any way needed.
Michele Ring is the administrative assistant for the Treasure Valley Southern Baptist Association, acting in that role since December of 2012. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University, and served as a teacher and principal in Christian schools in Washington, California, and Idaho for twenty years. She is married to John Ring, children’s pastor at First Southern Baptist Church in Mountain Home. They have two grown daughters and two grandchildren.
